Eastern Gateway Community College recommends using Google Takeout to export your School Email Mail and related Contacts, Calendar, etc data.
Once you authenticate with your School login, step through the Google Takeout wizard to create an export file with your data.
Scroll down and make sure you check boxes next to things like Google Calendar, Mail, etc. By default it will attempt to export all of your mail but if you would like to specify only some folders, you can optionally click 'All Mail data included' and select certain folders if you wish.
Once you have selected the data you wish to export, click on the Next Step button to continue.
At this point you will be prompted to select how you want to export the data and where. By default it will create a .ZIP file archive of your data in 2GB increments and provide you with a link to download the file via email. Alternately you can select another Google account, Microsoft OneDrive, Box, Dropbox, or other services.
Once you have made your selections (or accept the defaults) you can click on Create Export to begin the export process.
You will get a confirmation page that explains that the export file is being created from your selections and it may take hours or even days to complete, depending on how much data you are exporting. Once it has completed, it will email you to download or access your exported data.
