Submitting the Introduction to the Library Assignment on Canvas

For the Introduction to the Library Assignment you will be required to submit PDFs. Below is a guide on how to submit this assignment.

First, complete the "Navigating the Library's Gateway Search" tutorial. Once you complete all questions, you will be taken to a screen showing your score and certificate of completion. On this page, click the blue "PDF" button at the bottom of the page. This will download the PDF to your computer. You will need to upload this later.

Second, complete the "Introduction to the EGCC Library" tutorial. Once you complete all questions, you will be taken to a screen showing your score and certificate of completion. On this page, you will also need to click the blue "PDF" button at the bottom of the page. This will download the second PDF certificate to your computer.

Once you have both PDFs downloaded, go to the "Introduction to the Library Assignment" page in your course. Once you are there, click the blue "Start Assignment" button in the top right hand corner. Under "File Upload" click "Choose File."

This will open your file explorer where you will select the PDFs you want to upload and submit. Your PDFs will be in your "Downloads" folder.

Once you have located the PDFs, double click one to upload it. Once uploaded, you will see the title of the attached PDF. From there, click "+ Add Another File" and select your second certificate. You must attach both PDFs and then submit them at the same time. When you make more than one submission, Canvas will override any previous submissions and only keep the most recent.

Once both files are uploaded, and you see both files displayed, click the blue "Submit Assignment" button.

Once successfully submitted, you will see this message in the top right hand corner where you can again double check that both PDFs have been submitted.
