Methods for how to take Screenshots on different Operating Systems:

Windows:
Describes how to obtain a screenshot via a device that utilizes Windows 7, Windows 8, & Windows 10.

Take a screenshot:

  1. Click on the window you want to capture.  Press [ Alt ] / [ Ctrl ] + [ Print Screen ] at the same time.

 

  1. In the bottom left corner of your screen press the start menu icon, click the Search icon, the search for and open the Paint.
  2. In Paint, click Edit, and then click Paste.
  3. When the image appears in Paint, click the File menu, and then click Save As. Save the file to the desired location.

Chrome OS:
Describes hot to obtain a screenshot via a device that utilizes Chrome OS
      1. Click on the window you want to capture. Press [ Ctrl ] + [ Switch Windows Key ]

     2. Open up your file explorer and the screenshot will be located within your downloads folder.

Alternative Method to using Print Screen
Windows computers have access to a tool called Snip It, to access this method please follow the steps below

      1. Open your Windows start menu and go to the search bar.
     2. Type in "Snip It" Then click on the following Icon:
     
     3. After clicking on the snipping tool ensure the "Mode" is set to "Window Snip" and then click on the window that you wish to snip a screenshot of.
     4. From here you have 2 option, the first is the "File->Save As" or "Edit -> Copy" then you can paste the image into a word document or a paint window.

Mobile:

Android 
    1. To Screenshot on a Android Device you need to press the following button combination 
    [Down Volume Key] + [Lock Screen Button / Power Button] 
   2. Once you press these buttons at the same time you will screen shot whatever page you are on. Then you will be able to find this screenshot in your phones photo gallery.

IPhone

    1. To Screenshot on an IPhone Device you will need to press the following button combination
    [Home Button] + [Power Button]
   2. Once you press these buttons at the same time you will screenshot the current screen you are on and then you will be able to find this screenshot located in your gallery.  

Macintosh:
   1. To Screenshot on Macintosh computers you will need to press the following button combination
   
   2. After you press this button combination the Screenshot will be automatically saved on the desktop. From here you can move it or delete it from the desktop.
