Safari 9 - Clear Cookies, Cache, Temporary Internet Files


Using the shortcut

The fastest way to clear your cache is to use following shortcut: [CMD] + [ALT] + [E].

Using the Develop menu


Open up safari and in the menu bar across the top click the preferences menu item. In the preferences window click the advanced tab and click the show develop menu in menu bar then close the preferences 

 

Click the develop option from the menu across the top then choose the empty cache option from that menu. 




You may also want to clear your browser history. Select the history option from the menu across the top and then choose the clear history menu item. 


Removing the data may reduce tracking, but may also log you out of websites or change website behavior.
