What is SSO?
Single Sign On is an institution-wide system that will allow users to utilize one user name and password for all of their online programs (Canvas, My Account, Email, etc.)
What are my EGCC Gateway user name and password?
Your EGCC Gateway username and password will be the same credentials that you normally use to log in to an EGCC campus computer.
What if I have never used a computer on campus?
You will receive an email, normally to a private email address that YOU provided at application, with an EGCC user account name and password to access the EGCC Student Portal.
Can EGCC Gateway Student Portal access my personal (non EGCC) email accounts?
No.
What format do I enter my username in?
Your username for signing into the portal will be as follows: first initial, last name, last four digits of student ID, followed by @student.egcc.edu
EXAMPLE: JDoe1234@student.egcc.edu
Can I change my user name?
No. You cannot change your user name.
Can I change my EGCC Gateway password?
Yes, but only if you know your current password and have Multi-Factor Authentication set up. You may use the “Change your password” link here to change your password (https://egcc.edu/password-reset/)
You may not use any of your previous passwords. Your new password must be 8 characters long and include an uppercase letter and a number. NOTE: When entering your User ID to change your password, please use your full student email address as the ID!
