Internet Explorer 11 - Clear Cookies, Cache, Temporary Internet Files

Clear / Remove / Delete Cookie information in Internet Explorer 11.

Step 1. Open Internet Explorer.

Step 2. Click on the Tools (Via the Gear Icon), chose Safety and then chose Delete browsing history.


Step 3. Make sure to uncheck Preserve Favorites website data and check both Temporary Internet Files and Cookies then click Delete.


Step 4. You will get a confirmation at the bottom of the window once it has successfully cleared your cache and cookies.


If the above steps did not solve the issue, there are additional troubleshooting steps below that may be completed:

Step 1. Close out of Internet Options. Click on Tools (Via the Gear Icon) and select F12 Developer Tools.


Step 2. In the Developer Tools window, click on Cache and select Clear Browser Cache...


Step 3. Click Yes to confirm the clearing of the browser cache.
