Updating QuickTime

This information provides instructions for updating QuickTime to the most recent version.

Mac

Step 1. Open QuickTime.

Step 2. Click on QuickTime Player > Update Existing Software.

Windows

Step 1. Open QuickTime.

Step 2. Click on Edit > Preferences > QuickTime Preferences.

Step 3. Chose the Update tab.

Step 4. Click on Update.

Or

Step 1. Open QuickTime.

Step 2. Click on Help.

Step 3. Click on Update Existing Software.
